FounderMeet DK – Founder of DKarta Studios! 🎨🤘
A self-taught, multi-talented artist, illustrator, comic book creator and entrepreneur! Starting her creative journey at just 13 going to markets and selling her custom designed shoes and pet portraits, DK has developed skills in painting, digital art, graphic design, illustration, caricatures and more!
A self-published comic book creator, DK has been a featured guest at multiple Adelaide Supanova and Adelaide Comic Con events, participated in artist panels and workshops, and sold her artwork and merchandise worldwide!
Her creative work has even caught the attention of some big names, including Green Day, The Offspring and The Living End, just to name-drop a few! 😉
Now, alongside her mum Janine, she's bringing her passion, experience and love of all things creative to life at DKarta Studios!

Meet Janine – Co-Founder of DKarta Studios! 🎨💕
The other half of the creative mother-daughter duo behind DKarta Studios!
With a strong background in Visual Arts, majoring in Oil Painting, Janine brings years of artistic knowledge, experience and passion to the studio! Her creative skills span oil and acrylic painting, mural art, traditional signwriting and much more!
With a lifelong love for painting and the arts, Janine enjoys sharing her knowledge, teaching new techniques and encouraging others to discover their creative side.
Alongside her daughter DK, she's helped bring DKarta Studios to life, creating a welcoming, colourful space where creativity has no limits!

Meet our four-legged creative directors and professional treat testers!
Baylei is our cheeky, sassy girl with a BIG personality! A certified therapy dog, Baylei previously joined Dana on special visits to people living with dementia, spreading smiles and plenty of love! She's also been a huge inspiration behind Dana's artwork!
Ollie, our long, noodle-shaped nervous boi! He's a little shy, a little anxious and sometimes scared of his own shadow! But once he warms up, he's a boisterous, lovable goofball and professional cuddle enthusiast!
Together, these two bring endless laughter, love and a little chaos to our lives! They're our furry muses, inspiring our art and bringing joy to us every single day! 🐶❤️
